Build local, modular AI agents

Agent0 enables you to build fully customizable, modular AI agents with ease, evaluate your usage and results, and iterate. It is build to save you tokens and improve the quality of your AI driven workflows.

Who is Agent0 for?

Agent0 is probably a good fit for you, if you are using AI and you want to:

  • build and experiment with multiple AI agent versions quickly
  • customise system prompts
  • use multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Ollama, Grok)
  • fully control which MCP server tools are exposed to your AI agent

No technical knowledge is required to use Agent0!

What problem does Agent0 solve?

Most AI agent solutions are a one-size fits all product. Which is very much not how we can get the most of out of a LLM. A small change in your or prompt (or system prompt) can make the output a lot better. We enable AI users to fully control how they utilise AI to their benefit.

Current AI agent coding apps, like Claude Desktop, Cursor and Windsurf, are a one-size fits all solutions.

Key Features

Flexible prompt builder

Use custom system prompts, include (or exclude) installed MCP servers or tools. Use the prompt library and organise your prompts. Use variables in your prompts to be able to re-use them in multiple scenario. You can even inject prompts into other prompts, if you want to go that far.

Multi-agent workflows

You can use your defined AI agents as if they are a locally installed MCP server. So your AI agents can use other AI agents as if they were tools or MCP servers. This allows you to create multi-agent workflows, where you control everything, from the orchestrator system prompt and tools to the executor-agent tools.

Prompt editor

The prompt editor lets you select prompt templates, change provider and model, include files from the workspace. Some builtin features are to import a import file tree, codemap or symbols of related files.

Tools & MCP

Use any MCP server you want. Expose only the tools from those server you want to use in your prompt. If you are technical, you can write your own tools in Lua. More info in the docs.

Guides

In our documentation and on our Youtube you can find guides on how to get started and how to get the most out of Agent0.

FAQ

Do you need to be a developer?

No, Agent0 does not require any technical knowledge. The only catch here is, that if you want to use MCP servers, you need to know how to install these on your machine.

No subscription? Just a one time payment?

Correct. I am experiencing, like most of you, SaaS subscription fatigue. I don't want to spread that burden.

What does entail the free trial?

You get 3 days of usage for free. After that you need a paid license. Use up to 2 machine per license.

Since I'm a solo developer I do not have the luxury to offer a longer free trial.

What is included in the license?

It includes all v1 features and bug fixes that will be released upon to v1 of Agent0. Agent0 v2 will require a new license. At this point in time all features that are planned, will be incorporated into v1.

What technology is Agent0 using?

Agent0 is build using Rust and Tauri to make sure we the app is blazingly fast, while not using any more of your computer resources then strictly necessary. So you can use these saved resources on getting the most out of (local) LLM responses ;).
